Our theme is “Maximizing Our Kingdom Capacity During A Global Pandemic.” Mike Clifford, executive director and lead facilitator for Capacity Ministries, will be our guest speaker. You can find more details, including an online registration portal, on the EFC-MAYM website.

The high school youth group will be going on a Spring Break Ski Retreat this March. We will be packing up and heading for the mountains in Colorado for a week full of skiing,  snowboarding, fellowship, and spiritual formation as we enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. We are very excited to have Nate Williams join our group as our speaker for the week! Nate is a graduate of Friends University with a degree in Religion/Philosophy. A few of our students will remember him as Nate-Dogg, the director of our spring break trip to Houston back in 2019. He is an incredible man of God and our students will be blessed to have the chance to hear from him!

When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat – When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat, and when I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I was a stranger, you welcomed me, and when I needed clothes, you gave me something to wear. When I was sick, you took care of me, and when I was in jail, you visited me…..Whatever you did for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me.  We all know hurting, lonely and needy people. We want to help, but aren’t certain how to begin? Let’s collaborate to connect and meet the needs of our community. For monetary needs, HFC has a Benevolence Fund. To contribute to the fund, checks may be written to HFC and designated for the Benevolence Fund.  If you or a group you are connected with are aware of a need and want to help, please contact either HFC or Sharon Howard. We all need Sonshine!

Mark your calendars for the NEWSIES Musical weekends, April 9-11 and 15-18 at Barclay College!
