PLEASE NOTE: The nurseries will all be upstairs. The 0-23 months will be in the nursery behind the sanctuary and the 2-3 year olds will be in the nursery across from the church office. The Preschool children’s church will be in the classroom next to the office.
Something for Moms will meet this Sunday February 17, at Lois Kendall’s house from 7:00-8:30pm (506 N. Lawrence).
To our Church Family: Thank you so much for your love and support after the house fire. Thank you for helping us pack up, move boxes and furniture, bring in meals, wash clothes, quilts and sheets, furnish supplies and for the use of trailers and equipment. Everyone is invited to a His and Her wedding shower honoring Nicole Ballard and Isaac Sprague on Sunday, February 24, at 2:00pm in the Youth Room. The couple is registered at Ace Hardware (Pratt), Amazon and Target.
Friends Women will meet on Monday, February 18, at 7:00pm in the classroom next to the office.
On Sunday, February 24, at 4:30pm, HFC will be hosting Quaker Night, a regional Friends youth event for Junior High and High School students. Youth from surrounding area Friends churches will be traveling to Haviland to partake in an evening of worship and fellowship.
There is a thank you card from the Bousman family to the church on the bulletin board in the foyer.
Junior High Bible Quiz Fundraiser March 3!
The quiz team will be holding a Mock Quiz & Dessert fundraiser on Sunday, March 3, at 3:00pm in the Youth Room. Desserts, tea, lemonade and coffee will be available to enjoy as you watch the tournament, or you can purchase a baked good or craft to take home for later.
We are looking for 5 teams to fill out our bracket. The tournament winner (if not one of our Junior High teams) will receive a cash prize of $300! We’ll be quizzing over Luke chapters 1-5, using the latest version of the NIV. There is no entry fee. Your team can consist of 2 to 4 players. Contact Katherine Sneed at ssneed@havilandtelco.com by February 28 to enter!
