Everyone is invited to the pancake and sausage breakfast this Sunday, August 25 at 9:30am before the morning worship service! We will welcome the Barclay College students and love on them with food, fellowship and supplies. Please join us in welcoming the students!
No Sunday School (Children through college age) on August 25.
We are having Pre-School Children’s Church this Sunday as we transition children into their new class.
Family Sundays are usually the last Sunday of the month where K-5th grades will remain in the service (no K-5th Children’s Church this Sunday). There are activity bags in the back for kids to use during the service.
Family Camp at Camp Quaker Haven is August 30-September 2.
Friends Women meet Monday, August 26, in the church basement at 7:00pm. All women welcome!
The new session of Children’s Sunday School Classes will start September 1 at 9:30am.
WELCOME BARCLAY COLLEGE STUDENTS! We are so glad you’re here!
Youth Group will start Wednesday, September 4th! Junior High is 6:00-7:30pm and High School is 7:45-9:15pm.
Faithweavers will start September 18, from 6:00-7:30pm!
We are starting to collect NEW items and supplies to pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child! We will collect items until the end of October. Thank you for your participation and support!
BARCLAY COLLEGE
ADOPT A STUDENT PROGRAM
The college years are a crucial time in a young person’s life. Many are away from home for the first time and trying to figure out how to manage life on their own. We want to encourage students through our Adopt A Student program. This is the fourth year we are having this program at Barclay College. It is a way for the Haviland community and Haviland Friends Church to come along side Barclay students and encourage them in this phase of their life. A card, an email, a text, a phone call, a care package are all ways you could do this. If you are interested, please let Ryan Haase or Larry Lewis know after the service.
Stay Connected to our HFC College Students!
Going away to college can be a tough transition for kids. We want to stay connected to our college students through prayer, letters and care packages while they are away at college. If you have a college student or know of one for this list please send names and addresses to hfcoffice@havilandfriends.org.
